In hindsight this cartoon doesn't do the best job getting what I wanted to say across. I wanted to express my frustration with 'White America' continually staying silent on the topic of racial injustice, which would've been better served by the white guy saying nothing (i.e- 'crickets') when confronted by the Black Lives Matter movement. It would've also created a better dichotomy between the white character's willingness to vocally critique the Muslim and yet stay silent when it was his turn to voice opposition to a group of people he is inextricably tied to.
